The challenge: packaging a delicate product such as growing media/soil
OMS Group is proud to present a new project implemented for Bioflor, a leading Italian company in the production of professional growing media and soil for horticulture. These types of products require packaging capable of protecting against moisture and transport stresses without slowing down the end-of-line.
The solution: IS43 and IS44 stretch-hooding machines
At the Treviso plant, OMS Group installed two stretch-hooding machines, IS43 and IS44. These are the only stretch hooding solutions designed to perform all operations at ground level, ensuring easier maintenance and greater operator safety.
The benefits of this packaging system
IS43 uses the upside-down hood collection system, while IS44 operates with the traditional system: the combination of these two stretch-hooding machines reduces film consumption and delivers a flatter, more stable pallet.
The two machines are perfectly integrated into the production line. The result guaranteed by OMS Group is a more efficient and sustainable end-of-line, in line with Bioflor’s commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility in the production of professional growing media.
